Surrey Care Trust is a charity providing mentoring and support to young people from areas of disadvantage within Surrey. The trust offers a broad range of programmes to support families, children and young people up to the age of 25. Across all the programmes, the aim is to tackle disadvantage and social exclusion and to empower young people to overcome the challenges they face, including low skills, poor educational achievement, limited opportunities, and tough financial circumstances.
This is a great opportunity to lead a well-established organisation as it develops a new strategy, builds new partnerships and focuses on financial sustainability. This is a role for someone who brings a wealth of experience around service delivery in a commissioning environment and who has the gravitas to bring together and maximise the potential of a diverse group of employees and volunteers. The role is home-based with frequent travel around Surrey and is paying £50-£60K.
Closing date for applications: 9am Friday 23rd August 2019.
