Below is a list of resources available for you.

Campsites, Hostels & Activity Centres

Open to Scouts, Guides, Schools, Youth Clubs, Church Groups, Boys’ Brigade, Army Cadets etc. Adjacent to 4000 acres of Hurtwood woodland.

Single campsite, 2 acres, part woodland with volunteer off-site warden.  Accepts Scouts and other Youth Groups.

Epsom & Ewell & Leatherhead Scout Districts. Woodland campsite on edge of Headley Heath. Accepts Scouts / Guides / Schools on Dof E. Volunteer Duty Warden on site at weekends.

A small (5 acres approx) activity site in woodland which may be used for overnight camping for Scouts / Guides / D of E / ATC etc. No facilities and adjacent to motorway and the Bourne River. (Can be very noisy due to M3 motorway.) Note: public footpath through site.

A simple but pretty camp site set on North Downs / Pilgrims Way with small field approx 1.5 + 6 acres woodland. Will accept Scouts / Guides / D of E / youth groups. No electricity on site.

Sayers Croft is a beautiful, safe and secure site with 56 acres of woodlands, meadows, ponds and fields. We run programmes for youth organisations such as Scouts, Brigades and Guides, religious, community and counselling groups and youth awards such as Duke of Edinburgh and John Muir Award

In 4,000 acres of woodland in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this cosy hostel with small rooms enjoys quiet surroundings and is ideally suited as a base to explore the Surrey Hills or walk the North Downs Way and Greensand Way.

SOLD Surrey Outdoor Learning & Development

SOLD - (Surrey Outdoor Learning & Development) can offer youth groups and schools the chance to experience journeying in a purpose built, fully accessible canal boat, along the Wey Navigation.

Henley Fort is a unique space for learning and self-discovery in the natural environment.

High Ashurst is a wonderful wide-open space for learning and self-discovery in the natural environment and we specialise in tailor made programmes in adventurous activities and environmental projects.

Surrey Outdoor Learning & Development has extensive facilities available for young people including residential and camping centres.

Thames Young Mariners looks out across a placid 10-acre lake that adjoins the River Thames as it snakes its way through Richmond towards London.

Arts, Music & Drama

Surrey Youth Arts is part of the Surrey Youth Development Service and their primary aim is to promote the use of arts and creativity as a proven and effective way of delivering youth work to young people aged 11-19. This is done through a combination of training, networking and partnership development.

The Demo Pod is an exciting mobile Music & Multimedia facility available to youth organisations and schools across Surrey.

Centres & Meeting Rooms

40 Degreez Centre is a registered charity and a one stop shop meeting the needs of young people in Farnham. For more information on clubs, activities and services available please go to our website.

Surrey Outdoor Learning & Development provides fantastic learning and development opportunities for young people using a range of outdoor activities and programmes.

YMCA East Surrey has rooms suitable for meetings and training sessions.

The YMCA in Guildford has meeting rooms and other facilities for hire.

Surrey CVs / Volunteer Centre Network

Advice, information and support for both organisations and communities across the county including fully equipped, accessible meeting rooms.

Tandridge Voluntary Service Council (TVSC) is committed to providing support and information to the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector in Tandridge District.

Voluntary Action Elmbridge supports voluntary and community groups in the borough of Elmbridge.

Voluntary Action Mid Surrey (VAMS) champions the cause of the voluntary sector in Central Surrey, and works to bring voluntary organisations together for this purpose.

Voluntary Action Reigate & Banstead is the local support and development organisation which works to champion local voluntary action and strengthen local charities, voluntary organisations and community groups in the borough.

Supporting the Voluntary and community sector in Guildford and Waverley we provide advice and information on all aspects of running a voluntary organisation.

The purpose of Voluntary Support North Surrey is to improve the lives of people in the boroughs of Surrey Heath & Runnymede.

Voluntary Support North Surrey is the umbrella body for the voluntary, community and faith sector in the borough of Spelthorne.

To provide voluntary groups in the Surrey Heath area with: information to assist in the management of their organisation; updates on policy that may affect the voluntary sector; events and advice; and an opportunity for groups to promote their organisation.

Advice on funding, grant applications, HR, IT, finance, governance, bookkeeping, payroll service, CRB service, Interpreting Service (WITS), Volunteer Centre.

Enjoyment & Achievement

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award aims to provide an enjoyable, challenging and rewarding programme of personal development for people aged 14 to 25 which is of the highest quality and the widest reach.

The Frimley & Camberley Cadet Corps offers activities for young people up to 18 years of age.

Surrey Outdoor Learning & Development provides fantastic learning and development opportunities for young people using a range of outdoor activities and programmes.

Educational and team-building days out for small groups of young people are among a range activities based on the Surrey Care Trust’s Swingbridge community boats.

Borough & District Councils

Elmbridge Youth Forum started in 2005. It is supported by Elmbridge Borough Council Leisure and Cultural Services.

A dedicated Leisure Developments Team work to develop opportunities and activities for young people in the Borough.

There are a huge range of clubs and organisations in the borough, including sports clubs, arts organisations and activities for young people.

Mole Valley District Council has many facilities available to promote sporting and leisure opportunites.

Reigate & Banstead Borough Council has a range of leisure activities and facilities available for young people.

Tandridge Trust, Leisure & Culture Limited (formerly Tandridge Leisure Limited) is a not for profit social enterprise which was set up to provide leisure, cultural and sporting opportunities for communities
