Lunch Club, Collingwood College 1- 2.15pm Mondays (Term time only)

The Eikon Charity based at Collingwood College Secondary school are looking for volunteers to help with our lunch club.

As part of the lunch club team you would lead sessions having developed short activities in advance of the session.

Key areas of responsibility for role are:

•Engage young people voluntarily and positively; motivate, inspire and encourage potential

•Listen and support young people, showing empathy and understanding, remaining non-judgmental and caring

•Role model confidence, honesty, integrity, commitment and sensitivity to young people

•Ensure that all youth work is delivered in accordance with the youth work curriculum and all relevant policies and guidelines

This post is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.

Bus Driver

Volunteer Bus Driver wanted for Spring/Summer (Old Dean session, Watchetts, Chobham) Both term time and holidays. These are volunteers who, after safety checks, will drive the bus to and from the community. Bus drivers will be required to have a clean driving license (Cat B before 1997), at least 25 years old, with at least 15 hours bus driving experience.

You will be required to complete a criminal records check (DBS) and provide two references.

Bus Manager

We are looking for volunteers to join the team at youth clubs across Surrey Heath, Bagshot, Camberley and Deepcut.

We have a mobile Youth Centre - a Youth Centre in a bus! The bus will travel around Surrey Heath supporting our youth work activities.

We urgently need a volunteer to manage and look after the bus. This will include making sure that regular checks are completed and communicating when and where the bus is needed. Reliable and friendly, experience of driving a bus is desirable but not essential. Time commitment: 2-3 hours per week.

You will be required to complete a criminal records check (DBS) and provide two references.

Youth work volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to join the team at youth clubs across Surrey Heath (See below for all youth centers recruiting)

Key areas of responsibility for role are:

·        Engage young people voluntarily and positively; motivate, inspire and encourage potential

·        Listen and support young people, showing empathy and understanding, remaining non-judgmental and caring

·        Role model confidence, honesty, integrity, commitment and sensitivity to young people

·        Ensure that all youth work is delivered in accordance with the youth work curriculum and all relevant policies and guidelines

Time commitment:  3 hours per week evening sessions.

This post is subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.

Surrey Heath youth Centre sessions:

·         The Hub, Deepcut 7-9.30pm Mondays (Term time only)

·         Old Dean Youth Centre 5.15-7pm Wednesdays (Term time only

·         Youth Council 5-6.30pm Thursdays (Term time only)

·         Watchetts/St Michaels Outreach at St Marys Church, Camberley 6/7.30pm Thursdays (Term time only)

·         Chobham Outreach, Chobham Community centre 5-6.30pm Friday.
