Surrey Hills is a 422 km² Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Surrey, England. The AONB was designated in 1958 and covers one quarter of the county of Surrey. It is an area rich in Heritage and opportunities for young people. 2018 is 60th anniversary of designation what better way to celebrate than with young people!
What experiences would we like for young people? What outcomes would we like for young people? Are there any specific target groups who would particularly benefit from this opportunity?
Over 30 organisations got together in September to explore this, leading to a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund – results pending.
