More than 30 deserving young people, aged from 12 to 19 years-old and from all areas of Surrey, were rewarded at today’s Surrey Young Superstars 2015 awards, receiving their trophies and certificates from celebrated round-the-world yachtswoman Tracy Edwards MBE at a special awards ceremony at Guildford’s Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel (3.00pm, Sunday, May 10th 2015).

Organised by leading independent Surrey travel agent Haslemere Travel, in partnership with the county’s largest voluntary youth organisation representative, Surrey Youth Focus, the third, annual Surrey Young Superstars Awards gave a spotlight to the many achievements of young people in Surrey, as well as raised awareness of a local charity – this year it was water aid charity Just A Drop.
