Coffee and Chat – Exploitation

Our next Coffee and Chat session will be on Wednesday 30th November, 12.30-1.30pm on Microsoft Teams. We are pleased to say we will be having inputs from YMCA WiSE and Music to My Ears (a project from Catch22) as we look at exploitation.

We have deliberately framed the session to look at the vulnerabilities and push/pull factors that can lead to children and young people being exploited, so even if you feel the session theme might not be relevant or applicable to your day to day work, we would really encourage you to come along, hear from others and be part of the conversation; issues such as cost of living, at risk of exclusion/low school attendance, neurodevelopment, county lines are things that start affecting a wider net of young people, any one of whom can be impacted by these and other vulnerabilities.

See the flyer.

This session will predominantly be for charities/community groups and focus on what support they can give, however if you work for a different organisation and think the session could offer you a broader understanding of the subject please do come along, all are welcome to join us.

Part of the Coffee and Chat series – informal meetings creating an opportunity to come together to listen, reflect, discuss and ask questions about particular topics.
