An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Health & Wellbeing Advisors to join an established, supportive, and friendly team on the Be Your Best programme. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary partnership including The University of Surrey, SCC Family Learning and Active Surrey. 

About the Role 

We are looking for one Health & Wellbeing Advisor to primarily support families living in Mole Valley, Tandridge, Reigate & Banstead and Epsom & Ewell and one Health & Wellbeing Advisor to primarily support families living in Woking, Surrey Heath, Runnymede, Spelthorne and Elmbridge.

Like all roles at Active Surrey, you can expect this role to be fun, rewarding and challenging. No two days will be the same! Your role will be to deliver the one-to-one session part of the Be Your Best programme either in school or family homes. Families are also offered online group sessions delivered by the University of Surrey and Family Learning. Topics include The Eatwell Guide, sugar swaps, sleep, exercise and screen time. 

The successful candidates will be experienced in working directly with children and families to support behaviour change in relation to healthy living. As a Surrey wide programme, you will need a full driving license and access to a vehicle. Full training will be given.

Salary: £14,901 per annum

Hours: 16.5

Contract type: Fixed term

Location: Woking, Surrey
